2. Chevrolet Silverado
Chevy’s Silverado sales come a distant second to the F150, but not for lack of trying. The Silverado increased its sales by over 10 percent last year, double that of the F150s increase of 4.9 percent. The primary calling card of Chevy is that their Silverado’s have primarily a steel body, which may give up a little bit of gas mileage, but in the event of accidents, body shops are very good at working with and removing dents in steel, but not so much for aluminum. Also, the Silverado comes with features such as easy-step entrance into the truck bed, and an effortless, power-assist tailgate lift. In addition, the Silverado comes with keyless entry, something the more expensive F150 does not.

3. Dodge Ram 1500
The Dodge Ram 1500 is the alternative to both the F-150 and the Silverado, and many people are electing to go with the Dodge Ram due to its extremely roomy 2nd-row interior and its strong and powerful towing capacity. The Ram is the truck to buy if you want to drive a truck but feel like you are in a luxury sedan. It’s superior handling, gives it the edge in rideability.
